Sunshine Bridge – A Suspension Bridge in Xindian, New Taipei City

Sunshine Bridge (陽光橋) is the first suspension bridge spanning the Xindian River (新店溪) located in the Xindian District of New Taipei City (新北市).

This bridge serves as a footbridge and a bike lane for human traffics between the left and right banks of the Xindian River.

It is the longest span suspension bridge in Taiwan without any towers in between except for the two main supporting towers at the ends of the bridge. Also, the bridge and its suspension cables were designed and constructed to resemble a musical chord.
